Wiccan Symbols
The Heptagram is a seven pointed star
which is also considered to be the Star of Venus, the Goddess of
Love. This symbol illustrates the allocation of the energies of
various planets in the course of one week and is used to focus on
a particular planet. This symbol is also used in the traditions
of Faerie Wicca. Often the Heptagram is engraved on a practitioner’s
Book of Shadows (or Black Book) to protect the valuable information
inside it.

The image of Cernunnos, the ancient horned deity who is believed to symbolize the masculine power of nature was also used in Wiccan ceremonies. This nature God was believed to rule over the forests and animals.
Many Wiccan rituals call upon the Goddess or “Lady” who is the feminine deity of Wicca. This symbol is assumed to be the simplified version of the revered Mother Goddess of ancient times.
