hi rose. i have a problem. i have this feeling inside of me thats telling me to be a witch and i feel so comfortable and alive practicing but i live with a christian family. what can i do?

Merry Meet Seeker, It is wonderful to hear that you are interested in practicing Witchcraft, the oldest religion on Earth. To practice Witchcraft, all you need is your mindful concentration. It doesn’t matter where you are or what your surroundings are like; you can still work on spells if that is what you need. The most important requisite for efficient witchcraft is of course your spirit. If you feel spiritual; if you can understand the rules of the Universe, then you can most certainly practice Witchcraft. We do not need books, tools or other items to practice witchcraft. A new minutes of our time and a peaceful room is all we need to create our dreams. Now that you are aware of the limitations of your surroundings, make sure that you practice your religion in silence. If you have to chant, do so internally. You really don’t have to hide your interest in Witchcraft unless you know that they people you live with do not understand the goodness of this religion, but have only heard about the fears of misinformed religious zealots who do not understand this beautiful way of life. Always be careful when you light candles or incense. These may cleanse and enhance the energy in the atmosphere but they are not necessary for successful spell-working. Reading spiritual texts, deep meditation techniques and powerful mental visualizations are far more effective for successful spell working. Hope you understand that your surroundings do not really matter that much if you wish to be a witch. Enjoy the sense of freedom that comes with this peaceful, original way of life.
