Okay, so I have a slight problem. My friend is extremely upset because his grandgather had died and he never got the chance to say goodbye. So is there a way for us to contact him so that he can say what he never got the chance to say? This is really important to him and I really would like to help him out with this, so please, please get back to me soon and let me know. I am really glad you came for advice instead of following the Do-It-Yourself route. You clearly care deeply about your friend.

I am going to answer your direct question first and then I want you to read the rest so that you can make an informed decision when choosing a medium.

The answer is, yes. Your friend can consult a medium who will act like a two-way radio between our world and the other side.

Choosing a medium can be tricky though. My advice to you is to identify a spiritualist church in your area. Make an appointment to go and see them. When you are there, explain you requirements exactly. (I am sure your friend does not want to speak to his great, great uncle who crossed over when he was a baby during the séance). They will probably then arrange a date and time for a séance. The séance will be conducted by a trained and highly developed medium. If there is no spiritualist church in you area, you can phone the spiritualist church closest to you and ask them to refer you to a reputable medium in your area.

This may be a longer route, but my dear, it is the safest. There are many charlatans out there and they can do your friend more harm than good. Have patience.

To close, stay away from Ouija boards. It is a big no-no. But that is an entire topic on its own.
