I was just wondering if you can help me be a witch. I got some information but that really didn’t help. How do I become a witch?

That is a very broad question. Since I do not know what point you are at with your decision to become a witch, can I suggest that you consider a few things?

The choice to become a witch is very personal and no one should make the decision for you. Also, keep in mind that there are many skeptics who will give you a hard time. Unfortunately, there are probably skeptics among your friends and family. A passage from Charge of the Goddess is a good indicator of whether Wiccan is for you. If this passage is meaningful, Wicca probably is for you. However, if it sounds like so much gibberish, it probably isn’t the right choice.

“I who am the beauty of the green earth and the white moon among the stars and the mysteries of the waters, I call upon your soul to arise and come unto me. For I am the soul of nature that gives life to the universe. From Me all things proceed and unto Me they must return. Let My worship be in the heart that rejoices, for behold– all acts of love and pleasure are My rituals. Let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence within you. And you who seek to know Me, know that your seeking and yearning will avail you not, unless you know the Mystery: for if that which you seek, you find not within yourself, you will never find it without. For behold, I have been there with you from the beginning, and I am that which is attained at the end of desire.”

Did the words above touch you? If so, you are probably on the right path.

Remember that most people are not tolerant of the Wiccan beliefs and lifestyle. Although they do not understand, the choice to make a decision about what is involved. Hopefully over time the prevalence of misinformation will subside and people will have a better understanding.
