How do I find everything I need to start witchcraft?

I’m not willing to live a simple life of living then die, i want to know more and want to forefull my and others life with knowledge, and the blessing of knowing more. Where do i find everything i need and want to know to get involved with Witchcraft?

The decision is become a Wiccan or a Witch is something that people consider carefully before making the final decision. Sometimes some element of witchcraft fascinates people and they decide to take a closer look. Or, they may have friends who are involved in witchcraft and they become interested. In many cases people discover that Wicca and Witchcraft beliefs are the same as their own beliefs. Here are some things to do to get started.

Read everything you can find to get more information about Wicca and Witchcraft.

Learn as much as you can about the basic beliefs and tenets of this path so that you can decide if the old ways are right for you.

Meet witches in your local area and get to know them.

Make a list of the reasons why you think Witchcraft is your path. What does being a Witch mean to you? What do you want to achieve and learn? What are your fears? How do you see the Goddess and God? What does the Divine mean to you?

Be absolutely honest with yourself in a journal. Never let anyone else read it, so that you can feel totally safe with the comments and thoughts you write in it. It will help you design your dedication ritual and will become your Book of Shadows.

There are no right or wrong answers. It will help you understand your path.

Always, listen to your inner voice.

If you read, hear or are told does not feel right, then it isn’t right for you.

If everything still feels right and you are sure Witchcraft is the path for you, it is the time to perform a dedication ritual.

Everywhere, you will find recommendations that you must read

Book of Shadows: A Modern Woman’s Journey into the Wisdom of Witchcraft and the Magic of the Goddess by Phyllis Curott
She also wrote – Witch Crafting : A Spiritual Guide to Making Magic Phyllis Curott
The Witch in Every Woman : Reawakening the Magical Nature of the Feminine to Heal, Protect, Create, and Empower (Paperback) by Laurie Cabot (just bought this myself)
There is a series of books by Robert Buckland they include:
Buckland’s Complete Book Of Witchcraft (Llewellyn’s Practical Magick)
Practical Candleburning Rituals: Spells and Rituals for Every Purpose (Llewellyn’s Practical Magick Series)
Wicca For One: The Path Of Solitary Witchcraft (Paperback)
Buckland’s Book Of Spirit Communication
Advanced Candle Magick (Llewellyn’s Practical Magick Series)
The Spirit Book: The Encyclopedia of Clairvoyance, Channeling, and Spirit Communication
The Witch Book: The Encyclopedia of Witchcraft, Wicca and Neo-Paganism

Those are just a few. My local library has quite a few books, but they are always checked out or on hold. You could easily spend a fortune on all the books that are available, but start with Book of Shadows. See what aspects of witchcraft fascinate you the most and pursue additional details about these particular subjects. You can also search for used books on Amazon and www.half.com. I recently discovered www.paperbackswap.com which has been a great way to trade old books for new things that interest me. There are all sorts of books to consider for your personal magick research library. Something I really like about Amazon is that you can read reviews from others. There will almost always be some good and some bad, but see how the majority of people feel about particular books. This will help you choose the more high quality books on the market.
