What are faery stars; what do the points mean?

What are faery stars, what is the meaning of all the points mean, and what does it mean?

Merry Meet. Faery Magick is one of the oldest traditions in the world. Fairies are believed to be supernatural beings who exist between Heaven and Earth. The Faery star is a septagram (elven) which is used by itself or with the pentagram that is important in Celtic based magickal ways of life. The seven points of the Septagram represent the following: Point 1 represents the Sun. As the symbol of life and fire, the Sun is the primary force of creation on Earth. Without sunlight, life would not survive. The sun can give us energy and nourish us as well as burn us with heat and cause drought and famine. Point 2 represents Wood. Most elves have a strong, basic connection to the forest and the “woods”. Many Faeries are found in Forests and trees are considered family to the Elves. The Wood is a symbol of Trees and nature as a whole. Point 3 of the Faery star represents the Sea. The vast Ocean is where life as we know began to form and develop. Water is again one of the forces of life. Without it, we would fade away. Point 4 represents Magick. It is important to all faeries and it is believed to exist in everything on Earth. This includes magick of the Elements, music, rhymes, runes, visions, dreams, butterflies, flowers, etc. Point 5 represents the Moon, the Goddess of Wicca. The Moon contributes to the tides, the night sky, the weather on Earth and our emotions in mysterious ways. More importantly, the Moon is responsible for teh cycles of life on Oceans that triggered the evolution on Earth as we knowi t. Point 6 – The Wind- Many people believe that the wind is responsible for cross pollination, germinating the plants on Earth which too affects rain forests and weather on Earth. Point 7 – Emphasizes our connection to the rest of the world through magick, Elements, Spirit,s, Energies, etc. Hope this helps answer your question. Blessed Be.
