Where do I start and how?

everyone of us can practice it in good faith… where do i start and how to start…”

Choosing to become a Wiccan is much like choosing any other religion. The first thing you should do is research it and make sure that it is the religion for you.

Since you have already learned that anyone can practice in Wicca in good faith, I believe you must have already begun your research. This site is a good place to start. Then,  I would suggest looking for sites that talk about the history of Wicca and the Wiccan Rede.

If you prefer to research via more traditional methods, look for books specifically published by Llewellyn Books. Llewellyn has been published books about Wicca and other alternative religions for years and makes sure their books are factually based.

Then, you should look for a local coven that is willing to take you on as an apprentice or trainee. Check for posting regarding Wiccan meetings at your local bookstore or through the religion department at an area college. Once you find a practicing coven, be sure to ask them about the things you learned in your research, including their views on the Wiccan Rede.

Once you are comfortable that you have found the right teacher, spend some time learning the Faith and the proper ways to practice it. While you cna elarn a lot from web sites and books, the best way to learn is through direct observation or participation. And, you should not feel any pressure from your teacher to commit to soemthing you are not comfortable with. If you feel that anyone is pressuring you or that theya re straying from the Rede, look somewhere else for a teacher.
