Where does Magick power come from?

What is the source of the power accessed by those who practice magick?

Wiccans draw their power from several sources, these are: Spirit, the Elements, the Ancestors and the Angels. Wiccans also use the power of their mind in order to manifest the things that are needed. They are only one group that believe humans have suppressed the abilities and talents over the centuries. This includes suppression of the power of the human mind. Much can be accomplished when we harness that mental power.

Many Wiccans believe that humans are lazy and only tap into the amount of mental power they feel that they need. This untapped ability gives us additional mental, physical and sensory abilities and can help some people tap into clairvoyance, telekinesis and extrasensory perception. Witches work hard to use and develop these skills and abilities.

Wiccans describe this power as parts of a three sides witches hat. The hat represents the ‘cone of power’. These sides of belief include: love, positive creativity and spirit. The bottom or foundation of the hat is love. That love can soothe a person, open doors which appear closed and unite us with others. Witches do their best to love all creation.

Positive creativity creates the second side. This doesn’t mean you have to be a skilled artist, it centers around the fact that you do something that is creative in a positive and encouraging way. It doesn’t matter what you create as long as its done in a positive way.

The spirit creates the third side. Witches believe that God exists, within us and around us and is willing to help us if we will ask for help. Witches see God as masculine and feminine, whereas most religions see God as masculine. Wiccans give importance to the feminine side of God.

When you put the three sides or elements together – Love, Positive Creativity and Spirit ? Wiccans are able to create a cone of power which produces the power for their magick.
