“i have been haveing these dreams for as long as i can remember its like i know them but when i wake up i cant remember them then i live them like i have done them before its sometimes funny and sometimes it scary. i knew before my husband and my mother had there affair i told them about it they did not listen then it happened. i have always wondered about these things if you can help me tune my dreams that would be great!”
The world would be a better place if more of us paid attention to our dreams and acted on the warnings they give us. Unfortunately, too often, the dream is forgotten or dismissed until it is too late.
Here’s how you can avoid that problem.
First, before you go to sleep each night, tell yourself that you are going to remember your dreams. This is a simple way to prepare our minds to remember the things we want to remember.
Next, place a small notebook, pencil and flashlight near the bed. Sometimes, our most important dreams are the ones that wake us from a sound sleep in the middle of the night. If you wake up thinking about a dream you just had, instead of rolling over and going back to sleep to try to get back into the dream, take a minute and write down the high points of the dream. In the morning, you can read back through your dream log and try to interpret what it means.
When you first start keeping track of your dreams, you can read through them to try to understand their meaning, but it’s okay to be stumped. As you keep track of your dreams and pay attention to them, your mind will place more importance on them and you will be able to interpret them more easily.
Good luck!
